Join the Cygnet to commune with nature on a cruise along the Molonglo River. We recommend the late afternoon or early evening and early morning as the best times to have this close up experience with the local bird life.

Cruise the more open waters of Lake Burley Griffins' east basin before entering the Molonglo River where the pace slows and you can leave the cares of the city behind, if only for a little while, relax and enjoy a very different experience.

Birdwatchers especially enjoy this adventure. Instead of traipsing across paddocks in the hope of seeing a nest, which is best viewed from the waterside of the tree lined shores; this cruise puts the bird watcher and you, in the perfect position.

Experience the Jerrabomberra Wetlands from the inside.

The Cygnet is able to cruise up the Jerrabomberra Creek allowing you to experience the Wetlands from a whole new perspective. Wetland cruises are by special arrangement so to experience the serenity of this nature reserve you will have to make arrangements in advance with Jim on 0419 418 846.

Occasionally when time permits we are able to visit the Jerrabomberra Wetlands on the Molonglo River Cruises.
